Bedadyuti Chakraborty, Currently - Director of RxCella(A Pharma & Biopharma Learning Academy)is having 26 years of Industrial experience in Pharma/Biopharma R&D, Production, Quality & Training.

He started his industrial career with Wockhardt & was part of the recombinant "Erythropoietin" (EPOX) development & launch team. In 2002, he joined Biologics Division of Dr. Reddy's as R&D scientist for anti-cancer drug development program. Later, he worked & led GMP Quality Management System (QMS) Assurance, Product Release QA & Training functions. He also worked for Global Technical Training Organization (TTO) of Dr. Reddy’s. His moment of pride at Dr. Reddy’s was when the team launched Reditux (first biosimilar Rituximab of the world) in 2007, still saving millions of lives in the world. He fetched several accolades at Dr. Reddy’s for outstanding contributions in the area of QA, Employee Capability Building & Training. That’s probably the IKIGAI of Bedadyuti too, now pursuing his passion to serve Industry (for existing learning needs) & Academic Institutes (bridging gaps between Academia & Industry).

Currently, he is the Learning Partner for leading Pharma & Biopharma companies like Dr. Reddy's, Serum Institute of India, Biological E, Mankind Pharma, Aizant, Piramal & Syngene International. He is consistently rated above 9 (out of 10) by trainees wrt knowledge, content development & training skill.

Bedadyuti was "Best All Round Graduate" & "Best All Round Post-Graduate" medal holder of Jadavpur University. His first book "Biotechnologir Kandokarkhana" (Wow Biotechnology!) was honoured with "Satyendra Puraskar" by the Govt. of West Bengal as the Best Science Book. He is guest faculty of Jadavpur University & conducted BootCamps/lectures at various academic Institutes - IITs, NIT, AIIMS & IISER aiming to bridge the gap between Academia & Industry. Sky-watching (owning a telescope) is one of his close-to-heart hobbies!
